Storage Suggestions:
To maintain the freshness and potency of your herbs, consider the following methods:
Soft Herbs (e.g., Basil, Coriander, Lemon Balm, Mint, Pineapple Sage, Lemon Verbena, Peppermint, Vietnamese Mint): Trim about an inch from the bottom of the stems. Place the herbs in a glass jar filled with about an inch of water, similar to a bouquet of flowers. Loosely cover the leaves with a plastic bag and store them in the refrigerator. Change the water every few days for optimal freshness.
Hardy Herbs (e.g., Bay Leaves, Chives, Oregano, Parsley, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, Nettle, Raspberry Leaf): After washing and thoroughly drying the herbs, wrap them in a damp paper towel and place them in a resealable plastic bag. Store the bag in the refrigerator's crisper drawer.
Basil: Unlike other herbs, basil is sensitive to cold temperatures. Store basil at room temperature by placing the stems in a glass jar with water, similar to a bouquet, and keep it on your kitchen counter away from direct sunlight.
Spice up your meals and embrace the natural goodness with Wild Chicks Farm's Seasonal Herb Bundle. Experience the harmony of flavour and wellness in every leaf.
